Torture debate about everything but torture.

As President Obama declares America “arrogant and dismissive” to our allies and enemies alike it becomes increasing obvious that he was well aware of the sentiments of Jerimiah Wright and the convictions of Bill Ayres. It also shows the character of the man and his willingness to decieve in order to attain the power he feels entitled to. 20 years in the pew and he didn’t know? Righttttt.. The release of some CIA memos and the withholding of others illustrates the Presidents inability to lead and the complete politicization of the WAR ON TERROR. The fringe on the left is pushing hard and the President is caving, ignoring the danger, and ultimately putting us all at greater risk….Why?

Hanging Chads…….

Thats right…. Hanging chads in Florida, swift boating John Kerry, the impeachment of President Clinton, gay marriage, global warming, and of course… the biggie…BDS.

For those of you unfamiliar with this acronym, Bush Derangement Syndrome.

The complete and utter contempt for President Bush and everything he stood for is what’s
driving this so-called torture investigation. Does anyone believe for one second that George Soros and the move-on crowd gives a fig about waterboarded terrorists? Or that they care about the “image” of America? Come on! These people are putting our lives at risk to get even…period.

These are the folks who got the President elected. The ones who continue to recruit the
college kids. No to military recruiters but to the sanctimonious wealthy socialist going after the youth, no problem. Go figure. These same kids then started pounding the pavement and making the phone calls. Day after day after day. He owes them. I really don’t think Obama wants this mess. I truly don’t. But what is he going to do? Lead? He needs these people desperately if he is to succeed in 2012. He can’t win without them. He knows it and so do they. The rest, to the detriment of us all, is, as Ms. Pelosi would say, “astroturf”

And as a side note to the pathetic arguments the fringe is throwing around. Don’t give me this garbage that our actions have resulted in more recruitment of terrorists. I seem to remember the left decrying that notion when it was rightly pointed out that their actions and statements were recruitment tools. Does anyone really believe that the distortions from the left have had no impact on young muslims? I would submit that the fringe left and the elected democrats in congress have prolonged this war and cost the lives of thousands because of their refusal to join the fight. Their constant backseat driving and their ever present self preservation. They have fought this war in the media. They have called their soldiers and their leadership traitors, murderors and liars. They are the ones killing more innocents with their high handed rhetoric.

Let the facts be perfectly understood. Our President is standing with the people who called a decorated American hero and our military leader a traitor and a liar. I agree with Orielly…. Torture my ass!

  1. I say keep “torturing!” Im willing to bet what those innocent people and families went through on 9/11 was far worse than what the CIA is doing to these people who helped plan the attacks of September 11 and continue to conspire to attack Americans and our interests. If the terrorists had their chance they would do far worse to us than what we do to them. As long as we keep getting information out of them, then lets keep pouring water on their face and making them think that they are drowning.

Man I am a frequent reader of your blog, and I think that you should do more video blogs on youtube. Havent seen one from you in a while.

  2. the torture arguement is funny. it doesnt matter what the powers that be decide over there in washington. to be honest, it really has no bearing at all to us soldiers. You think the CIA would stop waterboarding because the government says so? Do you think waterboarding is the worst thing the CIA does? Do you think that the CIA doesnt routinely use tactics that they arnt allow, and that are far far worse then waterboarding? Lol, get real. Ive been to the breifings and ive been told all the rules, but when on the streets of a third world country that shit doesnt matter. Ive worked with CIA and special forces from our country and others. Rules are for the meetings and briefings. they dont apply and arnt questiioned in the field. Ive seen things that would have soldiers in jail for a long long time if released. Torture is an ugly beast, but a nessacary one, and it isnt going anywhere. I dont care what our government says.
